Still Birth

Last night I had a dream
I saw the life slip out of me
Not slip
Forced out of me
You took it
You took my life away while I watched
and cried
and screamed
I yelled out cuss words that would make a sailor cringe
I cried out in tongues
pleaded with you to help me
and you did
You took her out and slapped her
and she did not live
When I woke up I reached out for her and there was nothing there
You took my life away
Yesterday, I died

  1. Yesterday, I died.

Could I have your room? I mean seeing as you are dead and all? šŸ™‚

Seriously though.. I like the way this piece brings out morbidity. When you say:
I saw the life slip out of me
    Not slip
    Forced out of me.

sends a shiver up my spine (I know i used up, that is the direction the shiver went I swear!)
